Instrument rental subscriptions

Instrument rentals at Micelli Violins are sold as an automatically renewing monthly subscription. You are charged the monthly rate shown at checkout, once a month, on the same date each month. We do not take the first two months as a single up-front payment.

Two month minimum term

All rentals are subject to a two month minimum term. This is agreed in the rental agreement you sign when you collect the instrument. If you end your rental before two monthly payments have been made, the balance of the minimum term remains payable and the instrument must be returned to the shop.

After the first two months, the rental continues month to month for as long as you need it, with no further commitment.

What is included

Every rental is a complete outfit. The instrument, bow and case are all included in the monthly rate, and the instrument is professionally set up before you collect it.

Cancelling

You may cancel at any time from your customer account, or by calling us on (801) 492-7772 or emailing micelliviolins@gmail.com. Cancelling stops future monthly charges. It does not by itself end your obligation to return the instrument, or to settle any unpaid balance of the two month minimum term.

Returning the instrument

Instruments are returned in person to 4051 Shoreline Dr, Highland, UT 84003 during shop hours: Monday to Thursday 10:30am to 7pm, Friday 10:30am to 5pm, Saturday 11am to 4pm. Closed Sunday.

Please return the full outfit, including the bow and case. Normal wear is expected and is not charged for. Damage beyond normal wear, and instruments that are not returned, are handled under the rental agreement.

Sizing and exchanges

Students grow, and an instrument that fits this year may not fit next year. Bring the player in and we will size them again and exchange the instrument for the correct size, at no charge, for as long as the rental is active.
